Well, after long thought (OK, 17 seconds) I've decided the Hinkelgruber family menu should be brought to the web. A couple of things for you to remember: no substitutions (Charlie's not a short-order cook, after all), and change is inevitable - Charlie may not feel like cooking kim chee on a Tuesday! Oh, and there is one request: if you're joining us for dinner, please either call or text the Scary Lady (you know the number - if you don't, you're really not invited).

If you see a sidewalk's gone, why wouldn't you cross the street to walk?

Well, best intentions and all that...We do have a new retaining wall. We have a new back porch (or stoop, as Mr. Hinkelgruber likes to call it). But the sidewalks don't get started until this week! And what a week it should be. We've been promised 70 degree weather tomorrow (remember, they also promised us jet-packs fifty years ago) and both I and the concrete guys are counting on it. A week from today should see one more project completed.

It's only two weeks until the Mr. and I head for Lost Wages for a week. We're trying out a new locale this time: Red Rocks Resort. Mr. Hinkelgruber will be taking some photos at the Red Rocks Canyon National Conservation Reserve. I will be making sure I'm getting my beauty sleep.
